This course consists of 8 hours, followed by an assessment of I hour duration. On completion of the course, successful participants are awarded a certificate from the Environmental Health association of Ireland. The certificate is valid for 5 years from the date of issue.

Trainer Profile

David M Power is a graduate of university College Cork, in Dairy Science and Food Science and Technology. He is also a licensed trainer with the Environmental Health Association of Ireland to deliver the Primary Course in Food Safety, and the National Hygiene Partnership to deliver the Management of Food Safety. He is also a member of the National Food Safety Professionals Association.

David holds extensive experience in the hospitality Industry as well as Food Manufacturing. Prior to taking up consultancy he was a senior Manager with Cow & Gate Ltd, UK and Ireland, with specific responsibility for manufacture of Infant milk formula.

David holds a hugh track record of problem solving both in the Hospitality Industry and the Food Manufacturing Industry.
