I would highly recommend any of the Wexford Chamber Skillnet events for start-ups.

From the perspective of the entrepreneur it’s a great opportunity to meet others in the same boat and to learn from those shared experiences. At a recent event which focused on ‘The Business Pitch’ the host for the evening Sean Mythen put participants at ease from the outset.

Many attendees including myself were nervous about pitching in front of the rest of the group and Sean’s easy-going approach helped a lot.

These events are also very practical for networking and building your business profile, not to mention, great value for money!

I attended the Speed Networking evening in the Riverside Park Hotel on the 7th December 2015. I found the night to be informative and I enjoyed meeting many familiar faces and also met some interesting new contacts on the night.

I found the talk on creating an Elevator Pitch informative and helpful and although many companies were known to me, some were not and it was interesting to hear about everyone’s business through their own passionate perspective and sometimes learn about an aspect of the business that we didn’t previously know about.

I enjoyed the evening and would recommend to anyone to attend such an event in the future.

The training course was brilliant and I have noticed myself paying more attention and actually listening to the customers instead of trying to jump in.
