&

Meet with “One of Our Own”, Head of Intel Ireland, Mr Eamonn Sinnott

Enniscorthy Chamber are delighted to extend an invite to all County Wexford Chambers of Commerce Members and indeed the wider Business Community to avail of this unique opportunity to come along for Breakfast in the Riverside Park Hotel on Tuesday 3rd June at 7.45am for 8am (sharp) breakfast and to partake in a live interview/ discussion with one of Ireland’s Top CEO’s and proud Wexford native Mr Eamonn Sinnott. (it is anticipated all will be back on the road by 10am latest!)

Eamonn was appointed the General Manager of Intel in Ireland and Vice President of the Technology & Manufacturing Group at Intel Corporation in 2010. Eamonn has been with the Intel team since it began operations in Ireland 25 years ago and was instrumental in winning the recent investment of $5Bn, bringing the total capital invested by Intel in Ireland to date to over $12.5Bn. This represents the largest Industrial investment in the history of the Irish state and will mean that the full suite of Intels most advanced products will once again be manufactured in Ireland. As head of Intel Ireland, Eamonn presides over approx 4,500 permanent employees in Leixlip, and the construction workforce currently engaged in the ongoing upgrade is in excess of 5,000. Intel has also expanded its footprint in Ireland in recent years through acquisition of software and services businesses with offices in Belfast, Shannon, Cork and Dublin.

Enniscorthy Chamber are delighted that Eamonn has accepted our invitation to address this Breakfast Event and to chat with his fellow county men and women about his journey in arguably one of the worlds most important companies, to discuss what qualities and habits he believes all business people should aspire to uphold and to reflect on what has helped guide him to Vice Presidency in this world class organisation.

Eamonn is a proud Wexford man with deep roots in Wexford and spends as much free time as he can here with his young family. His story of ascendancy from picking Wexford Strawberrys to Vice-Presidency of the company responsible for developing and manufacturing the most complicated electronic devices on the planet is truly remarkable and one of which we as Wexford people can be quite proud.

Eamonn has been lauded in recent times by the national media, has featured in Chambers Ireland ‘In Business Magazine’, he was Newstalks Business man of the Month for March this year and his company’s investment in our country is truly one of the hottest current news stories. He has addressed a number of Business Fora in the past but is understandably quite busy and has to be discerning with where he agrees to give his time. We are delighted to confirm that South East Radio’s Alan Corcoran has agreed to conduct an interview with Eamonn on the morning and host a Q & A season for those who would like to ask Eamonn specific questions off the floor. A truly unique one-off opportunity that Eamonn is delighted to offer to the business people of Wexford.
