‘Brilliantly observed, Richily comic Characters all played to painful perfections – A wonderful evening’  Alan Ayckbourn- Guardian

Critically acclaimed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, with 5 star reviews Are There More of You?, is the tale of four London based women living seemingly different lives all on the verge of a nervous breakthrough, linked only by the same postcode.  There is Claire, a bright, abandoned Ambassador’s wife with blood on her hands, Italian Sophia, who serves egg ‘n’ chips by day and osso bucco and Verdi by night, Sara, the local spirit weaver, all sweetness and light unless you tangle with her, and Sam a bluff northern business woman who’s always got on with men, but seems to be going home alone.

All the parts are played by Alison Skilbeck, an actor perhaps best known for her role as Polly in the long running radio favourite: The Archers. A pitch-perfect performance from Skilbeck makes this a hilarious and sometimes heartbreaking one woman show.  Skilbeck’s enormously varied stage career has taken her to the West End and all over the UK, and on tour to the USA and Europe: early on she created roles in no fewer than six Alan Ayckbourn premieres while television credits include Sherlock Holmes, Miss Marple, The Beiderbecke Affair, Dr Who, New Tricks, Law and Order UK, and Midsomer Murders. Alison’s  TV career began when she presented the Spanish Language Programme Zarabanda for BBC 2.  She is currently associate teacher  with RADA – Royal Academy of Dramatic Art- one of the most presigious acting schools in the world and is also on the RADA admissions panel.  She has also worked with many business and government personnel on communications.
