Graham Scallan has been elected the 2019 President of Wexford Chamber of Commerce.

He is people-oriented, results-focused and highly proficient in enabling clients to successfully achieve their desired outcomes.

He has been a director and board member of Wexford Chamber of Commerce for the past five years and is a keen supporter of local business initiatives and events. He has served on numerous active committees both locally and nationally.

He is a strong believer in building relationship with the local community and involving new generations. Graham commented that he would ensure Rosslare Europort is lobbied more heavily, Rosslare needs to be upgraded to a Tier One port to prepare for new trade and transport developments. “Rosslare Europort is particularly well-placed for development, as it is the nearest port to continental Europe and therefore strategically important,”.

Graham will continue to support retail; hospitality and all businesses needs in Wexford for 2019. I would like to thank the people of Wexford for the support and I look forward to working with you all in 2019.

He replaces outgoing President Niall Reck, whom he paid tribute to at the recent AGM. Graham informed chamber members that he wished to continue Niall’s legacy in ensuring the organisation can be inclusive, progressive, relevant and support its members and the wider community.
