Waterford & Wexford Education and Training Board

WWETB is one of 16 ETBs established under the Education & Training Boards Bill which was enacted on 1st July 2013.  WWETB came into being as a result of the amalgamation of following; City of Waterford Vocational Education Committee, County Waterford Vocational Education Committee, County Wexford Vocational Education Committee and the Training Functions of SOLAS.

Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board (WWETB)/Bord Oideachais agus Oiliúna Phort Láirge agus Loch Garman is a statutory body which has responsibility for education, training and youth service provision in counties Waterford and Wexford supporting a population of over 260,000 people.

Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board aims to place the interests of the learner/student at the centre of everything we do. Presently we are working to develop an integration agenda and strategic plan for the organisation to ensure we achieve this aim.
