 Course Descriptor

This course consists of 8 hours, followed by an assessment of 1 hour duration. On completion of the course, successful participants are awarded a certificate from the Environmental Health Association of Ireland. The certificate is valid for 5 years from the date of issue.

  • Session 10 Food Safety Law and Enforcement

Trainer Profile

David M. Power is a graduate of University College Cork, in Dairy Science and Food Science and Technology. He is also a licensed trainer with the Environmental Health Association of Ireland to deliver the Primary Course in Food Safety, and the National I hygiene Partnership to deliver the Management of Food Safety. He is also a member of the National Food Safety Professionals Association.

David holds extensive experience in the Hospitality Industry as well as Food Manufacturing. Prior to taking up consultancy he was a senior manager with Cow & Gate Ltd, UK and Ireland, with specific responsibility for the manufacture of infant milk formula.

David holds a huge track record of problem solving both in the Hospitality lndustry and Food manufacturing Industry.
