Week of Nationwide Business Events Starts Next Monday

Chamber weekChambers Ireland has today launched Chamber Week 2014, a week where Chambers around the country hold a range of events to showcase the vital impact they can have on your business.

Speaking this morning, Ian Talbot, Chief Executive, Chambers Ireland said, “This week is a great opportunity for businesses to gain a better understanding about what Chambers do and can do for your business. The diverse range of events around the country reflects the diverse nature of the Chamber offering. From making new contacts to training to business awards, local Chambers have a lot to offer your business. There are great events running all over Ireland allowing people to get a taste of the benefits of membership before joining.”

Wexford Chamber is running two events as part of Chamber Week.  An evening reception at the Irish National Heritage Park on Thursday 18th September, an informal networking event sponsored by Graphedia and ‘Love Fashion Love Wexford’  fashion show which will take place on Saturday 20th September in the County Hall, Carricklawn, Wexford.

The event in the Irish National Heritage Park on Thursday is a free event and   Madeleine Quirke, CEO, Wexford Chamber commented, “This evening reception, sponsored by Graphedia,  is aimed at thanking Wexford Chamber members for their loyalty. Their support gives the Chamber the capacity and capability to develop its products and services to better support business, as well as to work tirelessly on behalf of its members and the wider business community.  All members and their guests are welcome to join us.”

Refreshments will be served. All businesses are welcome.  Attendance is free to Chamber members and a fee of €10 applies to non-members.   Pre-registration is required.

Tickets for our “ Love Fashion Love Wexford” fashion show on Saturday 20th September are selling fast and a fabulous event is in store for all to enjoy.  Boutiques from around the County will feature with clothes modeled by Ireland’s top models and some of our own handsome and very talented local GAA stars.  “A fantastic Autumn and Winter collection from County Wexford’s best boutiques, a glass or two of bubbly and a fashion extravaganza that should not be missed” said Madeleine. Tickets are €20.
