Wexford Business Summit A Sure Bet For Local Businesses

The impressive line-up for this year’s Wexford Business Summit means that next Wednesday’s event is one that you simply cannot afford to miss.

The Summit, which is free to attend and open to both members of the public and to businesses from right across the South East, will take place on 3rd October in Wexford County Council, Carricklawn, Wexford from 9am-2pm.

As an event which has become renowned for providing attendees with the latest trends in the commercial world, this year, audiences will be treated to addresses from the Head of Marketing with Paddy Power Betfair and the Managing Director of Flahavan’s.

Speaking about the calibre of the speakers at Wexford Business Summit 2018, President of Wexford Chamber, Niall Reck said “We are honoured to have Paddy Power at this year’s Summit and with a presentation entitled 30 years of mischief, mistakes and things they don’t teach you in marketing school entertainment and innovative marketing strategies are guaranteed.”

In addition, John Flahavan, the Managing Director of Flahavan’s will be revealing how the well-known family business introduced green principles into their operations and how they work towards the achievement of measurable sustainability targets”, added Mr. Reck.

The Summit will also see the return of the popular Google Digital Garages and a revamped version of the Angels’ Den, whereby business owners will be pitching for a €500 cash prize.

This year, a Meet The Buyer event has also been introduced to the Summit.  Therefore, local businesses will have the unique opportunity to meet with the procurement teams from 10 large companies from across Ireland with a view to securing new contracts for their business.

This jam-packed itinerary, in addition to the multiple local businesses which will be exhibiting on the day, promises to make the Wexford Business Summit 2018, the event of the year.

Wexford Business Summit 2018 is organised by Wexford Chamber, sponsored by Zurich Insurance and supported by Wexford County Council, Media Partner The Sunday Business Post, South East BIC, EPA, Local Enterprise Office Wexford and Think Print.
